Oostermeer House in Ouderkerk on Amstel river is a typical Amsterdam Merchant's Stately home. The house was built in the early 18th century in a classical dutch style. It was used by the owners as a weekend house. |
| The house is quiet small, but very attractive. It lies, extremely well-proportioned, on the Amstel Dike, amidst beautiful gardens and annex houses. Allas, the gardens are not open to the public. The pictures in this site were made on a recent private excursion. You may use them for non-commercial activities, but please let me know in advance! The webmaster |
